1. Time for Spiritual Exercises for couples: Christians experience Lent through the Word of God. This week, married couples are in duty bound to be at the Basilica at 7.00pm to listen to the Word of God delivered by Fr René Camilleri. To make it easier for you to attend, catechism lessons for children from Yr1 up will be at the same time as the sermons. A child-minding service is being offered at the Domus Curialis.

2. The collection in aid of the Seminary will be held on Thursday during the Couples’ Lenten Sermon.

3. Meditation of the Holy Way(Via Crucis) Seminarians from our Parish will lead a meditation on the Via Crucis today at 6.00pm at the Basilica. Between 8.00pm and 9.30pm there will be Eucharistic adoration in silence at the Youth Centre Chapel.

4. Papal Visit: Those of you who will be using transport provided by the Parish in conjunction with the Diocese, will please register at the Parish office. Youths from 14yrs old to 35 yrs old will please fill in the required form and present it at the Parish office.

5. An outing to Malta: together with this week’s Parish Bulletin we are sending you a detailed programme of an outing to Malta on March 19th. We’ll celebrate Mass at the church of Christ the Redeemer at Senglea. We’ll go to Marsaxlokk and then to Rabat for the feast of St Joseph. Please book at the Parish office. The fee is €7.

6. Those who wish to take part in, or to help with the Good Friday procession or Easter pageant, please contact the Archpriest or Mr John Attard.

7. New Monsignor: We congratulate the V.Rev. Fr Anton Refalo Zammit who, today at 4.30pm, will be installed as Monsignor at the Gozo Cathedral. Ad Multos Annos.

8. Weddings 2010: There will be an important meeting for couples who are getting married during 2010. This will be held tomorrow, Monday March 8th at the Passion Oratory. Those who will be celebrating their wedding in other parishes are also expected to attend.
