The Xaghra Association of NSW invited His Lordship, Mgr Joe Bonello OFM, Bishop of Juticalpa, Honduras to Sydney for a short visit, while visiting his family in Melbourne, Australia. During his visit, the Maltese Community had the opportunity to meet Bishop Joe at several Masses he celebrated at Riverstone and at the La Valette Social Centre in Blacktown. The Association also organised a lovely dinner in honour of Bishop Joe Bonello on Sunday, 26 January 2014 at the Mandavilla Function Centre at Horsley Park. It was very well attended by Xaghrin and Friends; entertainment being provided by Joe Apap. It was a beautiful gathering which which included a fundraising event to support the Mission of Juticalpa, Honduras. Special Thanks go to the Xaghra Association of NSW Organising Committee for putting together such a memorable event.
